It was great - it has the same feel as Project Reality does, but without the overkill texture pack, making it easy to play without the hassle of lag. Forgotten Hope 2 - I'm not a fan of WWII games/mods. Which is why as cool as the mod is, it's only #4. But aside from that, it's just like playing another BF2 mod. there are new maps, a few new guns and a cool feel to it, much like you're actually in a game of paintball/airsoft. I don't know much about airsoft guns, but I feel that if ever the game were to be banned altogether, this mod is where the sport's lovers will be going. A genuinely fun mod that incorporates the same feel as Sandbox, but with a bit more of a comically-enhanced feel. You get to spawn everything, from common objects like wooden planks, to heavily armed helicopters. It's pretty much just Gary's Mod for Battlefield 2. This mod incorporates a non-hostile feel to a shoot-em-up game. One thing that could make the mod better is to get rid of the American voice-overs and add Australian voice-overs. One major thing that I loved was the Special Forces having a grenade launcher on the M4A1 SPCMOD, as well as the assault having its usual GLA, and the anti-tank class having a Stinger personal anti-air rocket launcher. It was a very well though-out game with a very good team behind it. The game features everything that the Australian Defence Force has to offer - from the F88 Austeyr to the ASLAV-25. It keeps the feel of the vanilla Battlefield 2, while also adding a whole new team with awesome new weapons and vehicles. Australian Forces - this game was awesome. Things like having to plan tactical attacks, defending your flag at whatever the cost, using friendly crates to gain access to the class that you want. because of the highly detailed textures and animations, it's very hard to enjoy a match without having to skip a few paces. I heard so many great things about this game prior to downloading it, but upon playing it, I dropped my head. New guns include the AS50, the Xm105, the DSR-1, the TPG1 and the M82A1, while the original guns still remain, such as the M24, the L96a1, the Type 88, the SVD and the M95. Also, the traditional class-choose has been replaced with a fun "pick whatever you like" feel. The gun skins have also been changed to suit whichever terrain the map is, and the gun sounds have been tweaked. The Wookie Snipers mod allows the player to think more when he/she is sniping - with realistic compensations such as wind, bullet drop, coriollis and more. However, on multiplayer, there are stacks of new, fun, exciting maps that'll really get you pumped for headshooting your enemy. There's only one map on singeplayer - Gulf of Oman, which is a BF2 original map. Wookie Snipers - this game is seriously fun. Aiming with your weapon is improved by making it feel more like a Call of Duty game. There are no new features, except for the skins and animations being tweaked to the bone. Alpha Project - This mod brings everything that EA and DICE originally promised for the people. There is one downside to the Japanese Army, however - the voice-overs are a bit. This really captivated me - I love getting to play as a completely different side. PLA (China) mod, but there's one map that the player gets to play as the Japanese Army. Also, the sniper scopes have changed so that is gives the player more of a realistic feel. However, the holographic sights obscure most of the screen. The main difference I saw in the mod is that the rifles such as the M4A1 now have holographic sights. It's a typical mod that incorporates a slight "realism" feel. Lions Rawr - this is a mod that takes place mainly in Chinese territory. So, here's my top ten list of great Battlefield 2 mods that I highly recommend: Battlefield 2 is renowned for its crazy good range of mods. If you don't already know, "mod" is short for modification. So, I've been playing a whole lot of mods recently But anyway, all the good mods remained intact, which was great for me. I've had to clean out my mods folder a bit, as some important stuff got lost while I was cleaning out my computer disc space. So lately, I've been playing Battlefield 2, otherwise known as simply BF2.
